Artemiev is a member of the Composers' Union and the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, founded by him as president in 1990, \"the Russian Association for Electroacoustic Music,\" and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music ICEM to UNESCO.
