I often think about my future. I think about what I want to do, and what I hope to achieve. What would you like to do in the future?
That’s a difficult question to answer. There are so many things I want do. But to answer your question, I think I would like to be an author. I could work when I choose, and I could explore my ideas through my writing.
That’s a nice idea. What things would you like to learn in the next few years?
Now, that’s a really difficult question! I want to learn to be more assertive. I am a very shy person, and it is difficult for me at work because I am too scared to say what I want.
I sometimes think of my ideal home. It is in Britain, where I grew up. Where would you like to live in a few years from now?
I always wanted to live in France, particularly in the south, where the climate is good. I would live in a small cottage near the sea, and I would have a vegetable garden. I will sit there and write my book.
I like the sound of that. Do you plan to buy anything in the next few years?
Of course. I want to buy a house. It will be my security for the future. I also would like to buy a horse. I loved riding when I was a child. Now, I have little time to go riding. But in a few years from now, I think I will have time again.
In a few years from now, I would like to have my own family. What about you?
I agree. I would also like to have a family. First I must find a husband. And then I would like to have a large family, maybe five or six children. I come from a large family, and it was always a lot of fun.
What about pets? Would you buy yourself any animals?
Well, a horse of course. I also want a dog. At the moment, my house is too small for a dog, and I have a busy job, which means that I cannot take a dog for walks. But when I am older, and when I have more time, I would like a dog. I think they are particularly friendly and loyal animals.
Are you scared of anything that might happen in the next few years?
I have lots of fears. I worry that I might lose my job, because I am not good enough. I also worry that I will lose all my money, and then I will not be able to make any of my dreams come true! But, most of all, I am scared that I will forget about my dreams.
It has been interesting to talk about this.
