Rod: Hey, everybody. I need some advice.
Nicky: Sure, Rod, what's up?
Rod: Well, you see, my rotary club is having an election.
Nicky: Oh, that sounds really boring, Rod.
Rod: It's not boring, it's rotary. They're electing club officers and I have no idea who to vote for.
Kate: Well, who's running?
Rod: My old friend from college.
Eve: There you go, vote for him. What're friends for?
Rod Well, but this other guy who's running is very very wealthy. And if I vote for him, he might invite me out to his compound in the hamptons this summer.
Nicky: Ooh! And then you could bring me along.
Rod: But, then there's a third guy, who's really really…well…he has the nicest smile, and we're both devoted fans of Barbaras Bush and Striesand.
Trekkie: Oh, you vote for him. He pay you back in sexual favor.
Rod: And that too! So you see my dilemma? I have reasons to vote for all of them, but I can only pick one.
Princeton: Rod, that's not the criteria use should use when you're deciding who to vote for.

Rod: No?
Kate: No. None of those things has anything to do with who would make the best officer for your rotary club.
(General dissent)
Kate: So one guy you're your buddy
Princeton: And one guy's rich
Eve: And one guy's the guy you'd like to make your bitch.
Gary: That sounds like politics and bullshit
Nicky: Why not vote for the one who deserves it?

Kate: Vote your heart, look inside and see what's there.
Princeton: Yeah, Rod.
