В те времена, когда царил обман –
Так говорит предание –
Услышал юный Странник дальних стран
Набат, колоколов звучание.

В те времена, когда обман царил,
В колокола звонарь бил без конца,
Он об одном всех известил,
Чтоб шли
К пристанищу жреца.

Народ жреца здесь окружал,
Дотошный и пытливый,
Рука дрожала у жреца, народ же ждал,
Что будет дан ответ.
Весь божий день тот жрец молил:
«Небо, помоги нам!»
И словно натиск тысяч крыл
Вдруг осветился храм
И новый день настал.

В те времена, когда царил обман –
Так говорит предание –
Услышал Странник дальних стран
Колоколов звучание.

В те времена, когда обман царил,
Набат звучал жестоко,
Он об одном всех известил –
Ищите все
Пристанище Пророка.

В толпе народа
Он стоит,
Прозревший до конца,
С знаменьем праведной руки
Сюда придя,
К пристанищу Творца.

Там вдалеке, где небо с миром дышит
Надеялся, он верил,
Что из легенд вернувшись, когда-нибудь услышит
Наперекор словам
Мирской толпы, несущей ложь и лесть -
«О, Небо, помоги нам!»
Увиден был в глазах его потусторонний блеск
И найден был ответ.

Вернувшись к людям, к их делам,
Стоит
Спаситель их сердец.
В знаменье праведной руки
Познали все
Свой Храм и кто его Творец.
