A need to keep these pictures carved into my soul
It's so hard to release you as I watch life unfold.

Tears of pain blind me as they make me let you go
To serve to a beast, piece by piece you go
I want to keep these pictures that my father gave to me
The one his father gave him as he fought for his country.
