From Star vs. the Forces of Evil - Marco Grows a Beard. Another variation on the “Star kicking butt” theme that I’ve been using throughout the season. If you compare this cue to the action cues in the first couple episodes, you see where the score has gone over the course of the season. Guitars and acoustic drum kits are basically nowhere to be found anymore, and instead we have drum machines and fake instrument sounds from analog-style synths. And lots of electronic swirly/sparkly sound effects.

Also possibly interesting in this MP3 (or not interesting, I dunno) – there’s a big gap in the music between the end of the fight and when Star enters the bathroom to save Marco. Which means I probably started out having music through that gap and got rid of it later. Which is why this is one big file, when it really should be two smaller ones.

I don’t know what I’m talking about, I got like 3 hours of sleep last night.
