Jonathan, tell me about your job.
Well my job title is Senior Designer and Buyer at a book publisher’s, so what it really means is that I design the layouts for the insides of a book mostly.
What abilities would you say you need to have for this job?
Well apart from the creative abilities you do need to be organised and be able to control budgets and set schedules and keep to them really well so there is a – what I like about it –there is a bit of, er, being methodical as well as, um, having to be creative so it's a mixture of the two abilities really.
And you have to work as a member of a team as well, don't you?
Yes, that's – that's very important because you – you might be working on a project for six months or two years together so you have to support each other and cooperate, um, and just create some harmony within the team. So that’s – that's true.
