The translation is this:
The Lord is with thee, oh Serene Virgin,
The Lord is with thee, oh Serene Virgin,
(You are) both bread of the shepherd and queen of virgins,
You are the temple of Christ the Saviour.

This in an invocation to the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. The last verse is translated loosely to render it better into the English idiom. \"Extitisti\" rather means \"to step forth/to appear/to prove to be\" and it is in the perfect tense. However, the verb \"to be\" in the present tense does the job equally well and is more idiomatic in English. \"You are\" in the third verse is put into brackets because it is not actually present in the Latin verse but is said to be understood to be there. In other words, it is implicit. \"The bread of the shepherd\" refers to Jesus, who is often called the \"The Good Shepherd\". Since the Virgin Mary was the mother of Jesus, she nourished/fed him. Thus, she is the bread of the shepherd. The \"temple of Christ the Saviour\" is a reference to the pregnancy of the Virgin Mary with Christ. The idea is that with Christ in her womb, she became the temple of Christ.
