An ancient granite vault from a family long past before which I take my sleep with which I feel connected
in this vault I find the empty coffin of mine already engraved with my name and promised to me Destined to rot in this tomb of the hydes what I seek is my own grave
whilst outside this tomb the sound of voices I hear with an ancient key I shall make my entry led by a single candle I make my descent
in this vault I find the empty coffin of mine already engraved with my name and promised to me Destined to rot in this tomb of the hydes what I seek is my own grave
Henceforward I haunt the tomb each night doing things I must never reveal suddenly bearing of boldness despite lifelong seclusion
Though sanity has slipped and all that remains is my certainty I know where I shall be buried I know where I shall lie
a mansion, a raptured vision within which I mingle with the dead burned to the ground by lightning now I look through barred windows
in this vault I find the empty coffin of mine already engraved with my name and promised to me Destined to rot in this tomb of the hydes what I seek is my own grave
