The Weekend
A: Have you got any plans for the weekend?
f B: yes, I’ve arranged to meet my sister at a Japanese restaurant in London on Saturday. How about you?
A; Well, I was supposed to be going to Brighton for a conference but it’s been cancelled.
B: So you’ll be at bit of a loose end, then.
A: Yes, unfortunately.
B: I tell you what, why don’t you come to London with me?
A: That’d be great. Are you sure you don’t mind my coming along?
B: Course not, as long as you’re happy with Japanese food.
A: I ’ve never tried it, but it sounds interesting.
B: Well, I ’m leaving Oxford at about eleven on Saturday morning, if that’s all right with you.
A: That suits me fine. Thanks a lot..
