Soon now, the moment passes by the fruit-bearing memories and towards the expanding truth The swollen wish of a dream within a cutout picture The smile is pure Connects to this future that’s going to change. Alas, the past is inviting; what do you see? From the limits of the desired intention Kick the ground and launch forwards* one two towards fulfilling the powder-dream** The slight life dissipates in this moment Alas, the past is inviting; what do you see? From the limits of the desired intention Kick the ground and launch forwards one two towards fulfilling the powder-dream The slight life dissipates in this moment There is no one to take the lead A rain of thorns keeps falling ahead Aimed towards those eyes Is there anyone, beyond that point?
Notes: * Much like “kick-start”. ** The two kanji used are: 粉 - flower, powder and 夢 - dream. There is no combination of those two kanji that means anything else, from what I can find. Please let me know if you do.
Un deux is simply french for numbers one and two. Might be useful to look at the lyrics of Unraveling, for context, “un de plus”. Kyo also mentions the lyrics of un deux in January’s GIGS, as the ones in which his current way of seeing things is at its most visible.
