with Carl Michael von Hausswolff, Asmus Tietchens, Lionel Marchetti and Stefan Andriopoulos
"Raum für Telemagnetische Medien" was produced for a sound installation by Sasker Scheerder in Stuttgart. Scheerder is an artist from Rotterdam who invented the "Audio Drive": using car stereos for sound reproduction and movement in space. Kubin's piece was played via several channels in different cars. It is based on a section of his radio play Paralektronoia which was produced in 2004 for WDR in Cologne. The original radio play deals with the connection between ghosts and electricity. The remix is centered around two interviews: one with artist Carl Michael von Hausswolff about Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) and the work of Friedrich Jürgenson, the other with scientist Stefan Andriopoulos who teaches in New York media history and occultism. The piece also contains formerly unused interview fragments with Mika Vainio, Asmus Tietchens and Lionel Marchetti.
