Back up, maybe you're a little too close, an empty handed moment at most, when your toes burn black into the road, from standing here so long alone.
(I can remember) Wind blowing through your bleach blonde hair, winter tearing my heart and then, you came around to pull me up, fell into my mattress and sunk.
(Such shame) I wasn't up to face the plague, tied my noose around your favorite tree, dangled on the limbs then jumped, I broke the branch and fell in love.
(Jane) Take me to my favorite place, where I can't feel a thing, you can take me, pull apart and break me up, pour my blood into your fancy cup, drink up.
Summer's come crawling again, you're whispering to your newest friend, I'm sitting in the dark alone, replaying memories to help me cope. I'd love to sit and share a coat, blame my smile cause my endorphins broke, fall's got worse to behold, slit my neck and I'll bleed out my hope.
(Jane) Make the pain go away, punch a smile into my face, leave me begging on the bed, slip up into my head, maybe cut signal instead, maybe stay instead.
