Imitation of life
Lies sent to your eyes, the senses are blind
Can you say you're alive
When the truth's buried right inside of your mind?

Today all I believed was questioned
Another side of life was shown to me
A couple of synthetic minds, grown in boxes
Artificial world

They see their world
Feeling the fullness of life
I control their thoughts

Forever they'll lead their life in belief
What they see is true reality
No one ever will have doubt of real
Does that sound familiar?

Your feelings are liars
They tell you the things they're told you to show
Like tools in the box
Receptor distracts
The brain reacts thoughtless

You live in a prison
You never can differ the real from notional
Limited by sense
You'll never escape of infinite cage
Of artificial perception

Light you see and stars you hears
Stars away and people near
Illusions of your brain
Hatred
Hatred imagined by you
