The Flares recorded Forever in 1965 on the Landa label, a subsidiary of Jamie Records in Philadelphia.The flip side I Found Out appears on Wyld Sydes #3 CD whilst Forever is on Psychedelic Unknowns #3 and Destination Frantic!.Frantic is the last thing you would say about this mellow little number or indeed psychedelic.But its certainly unknown and rather appealing and Im glad that good old Billy Synth saw fit to compile it.The writers of the song are Costello,Costello and Wright but they and the band as a whole remain beautifully obscure and psychedelically unknown.
