One day I was walking and I met a little worm. All that worm could do was smile and I began to squirm. When I asked him why he smiled though all the world was gray, He smiled at me, real mild at me, and then I heard him say,
Just keep on smiling, Life can be worth-whiling, If you keep on smiling, Life smiles back at you.
Now I find that every time my spirit starts to fail, When I meet a grizzly bear while going for the mail, Or if a mad rhinoceros decides to come and stay, My thoughts return, Straight to that worm, And what I heard him say.
Just keep on smiling, Life can be worth-whiling, If you keep on smiling, Life smiles back at you.
