Katie is a classical artist with a Scottish background and has performed for members of the Royal Family, the Malay Royal Family, and many celebrities including Sir Donald Tsang, Sir David Tang, Sir Sean Connery, Sir Jackie Stewart, Harry Potter's JK Rowling, Sir Richard Branson and Sir Alex Ferguson. She performed at the inauguration of the Scottish Parliamant, at the Beijing Olympics and was one of the first foreigners for several centuries to be invited to give a show at the Forbidden City Concert Hall
