The Mysterious Room

In the SUGAR-PLUM FAIRY's palace, (in the middle, just off center,)
Was a spooky old room, that the LITTLE GIRL knew
She was strictly forbidden to enter-----
VERSE CHOIR:
The door was covered with cob-webs, and this most mysterious room
Was dark as an elephant's tummy---still as a mummy's tomb.....
But the LITTLE GIRL got curious, curiosity is what killed the cat,
She crept to the door, got down on the floor---
And peeked thru' the crack----WHAT'S THAT!??

THE ARAB DANCE: (inst) Spiders, bats, and witches in a grotesque routine.
VOICE: "I say Holmes-----wot was that?"
(Dance continues till door closes)
