Karl Lindström master 128295 [renumbered Bi 641], rec. Berlin, 6 May 1932.
Mixed quartet with orchestra under the direction of Felix Lehmann.
Eric Harden was a collective preudonym for a variety of dance band leaders. In this case, the recording ledger shows Felix Lehmann, who had been working as in-house conductor and arranger for Homocord when that company was bought by Lindström during the depression years. Many of Lehmanns recordings were published as by "Felix Lemeau" (salon orchestra selesctions) or "Fred Bird" (for dance band records, many of them quite good, by the way). By the way, does anybody have a reasonable explanation why a song like this needs two lyricists?
