If I were to pick out of the three Kid Frost records that I like best, it is this one. Along with his Old School rapping style, the beat contrasted a bit with the time period. '85 was the Electro era on the West Coast, but this beat was not as Electro-like as a lot of other artists' at that time. If I had not known that this was Kid Frost, I would not know who it is at all. His voice showcased here is not nearly as developed as it would later become.
