Spinning from darkness to darkness On the night when the pendulum counts eternity In the circuits which continue endlessly Lit up by the fire of illusion
The kiss I receive from you Inside my dozing consciousness
I want to feel my blood flowing and pulsing I want the scar on my neck to still be numb
The sinful night returns, embraced by the scent of choking blood I abandon myself to pleasure Ruined by the night, we dance across oblivion Slipping into darkness and silence, “you of the eternal night” smiles
From the split in my flesh into which you bite It looks like wine running out
I want to feel my blood flowing and pulsing I want the scar on my neck to still be numb
The sinful night returns, embraced by the scent of choking blood Exposed by the moonlight Eaten up by poison, no refusal accepted Seeking for you, I fall at your mercy, my spirit wanders through the night
The sinful night returns, embraced by the scent of choking blood I abandon myself to pleasure Ruined by the night, we dance across oblivion Slipping into darkness and silence, “you of the eternal night” smiles
Spinning from darkness to darkness On the night when the pendulum counts eternity In the circuits which continue endlessly Lit up by the fire of illusion
Interesting (maybe??) note: 常夜(tokoyo) is usually 常世 - which means eternalness and can also mean “land of the dead”. Here Keiyuu has changed the last kanji to 夜 which means “night” but has the same reading as 世. So I have translated the title as You of the Eternal Night and there is definitely an “undead” theme.
