This is about the inhabitant of a dream.

About a sepia-colored world
where the clocks stopped
and a very young boy wanders about

He’s moving forward to a far odd yet near place
which is of no one’s possession.

Riding on a gray railway he travels around the world
Enchanted by a townscape like the one of Kowloon
Walking happily on a rainbow of only one color
He holds his umbrella and travels around the world

Days of daydreaming
- the real world -
am I still asleep?

This is about the inhabitant of a dream.
Even though he is a little lonely, a little lonely
All he happens to see on the street are shadows
and he doesn’t come across anyone.
No, he doesn’t.

The moon in its grayness is just so exceedingly large
that everything seems like it’s about to get
inhaled by it

Through an alleyway where candles are lined up
he travels through the world
And there’s the signpost of a carriage
no one is sitting in
And for everyone he crosses the moon
on a mysterious bicycle
As if he was tightrope walking,
he travels around the world

The days keep flowing by
- the real world -
am I still asleep?

Provided that there is a morning to come
and I am able to wake up
I will talk about this dream to you

Riding on a gray railway,

Waiting for this tale to end

When did I start to see this dream
about this never-ending world
that’s found somewhere in eternity?
