(Hail) Master of Raghu Family, Lord Raam, (Hail) Seeta Raam who make even the fallen ones pure.
[The lines are important for, one, they're the lines of most favorite bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi, who began the system of Satyagraha (and coined the term), and here the protesters seem to follow his way, though partially. And two, the lines signify that the protesters are remembering their Gods and asking for Their support.]
Satyagraha.. Satyaagraha.. Ab tak dheeraj maanga tha Prabhu ab dheeraj mat dena
We had asked for patience to be given to us till now, Now don't give us any more patience..
[The protesters say that they wanted to remain patient, but now things have gone beyond control, so they don't want it anymore.]
Sehte jayein, sehte jaayein, sehte jaayein.. Aisa bal bhi mat denaa
We keep enduring and suffering, and suffering, Don't give us such strength..
[That is, Give us strength to fight against the injustice now.]
Uth kar karne hain kuchh kaam Raghupati Raghav Raaja Raam
We have to get up and do some works, (Hail) Master of Raghu Family, Lord Raam..
Tum karunaa ke saagar, tum paalan kartaa Par jo zulm hai kartaa wo kahaan tum se dartaa
You're the sea of mercy, you're the Guardian, But those who oppress, they're not afraid of you..
Tum pooran paramaatma, tum antaryaami par phir kaise hoti rehti, har pal ye manmaani
You're the Lord of entirety, you're omniscient, But then how is there all the time this high-handedness..
[The first lines of last two couplets are from an 'aarti', a verse in worship of God, though the second ones are not as the couplets are completed so as to ask God how He's letting all this happen.]
Ghaayal hai bholaa insaan Raghupati Raaghav Raajaa Raam
The innocent man is wounded (today), (Hail) Master of Raghu Family, Lord Raam..
Toot raha hai ab Vishwaas, paanch barsh dhundhlaa aakaash kaun dwaar hum khatkaayen kaun se vaade dohraayein, aam aadmi kitna aam, Raghupati Raghav Raja Raam..
Now the faith is ending, We see a hazy sky for five years, not knowing which gate to knock at, and which promises (that were made to us) should we repeat How common is the common man here, O Lord Raam..
Ghar se nikle hain is baar, tan man dhan sab hain taiyaar Khaali haath na lautenge, Tay kar ke aaye is baar..
This time we've come out of the homes, with everything ready [tan-man-dhan is literally body, soul and money, basically used for everything one has.] We'll not be back empty handed, This time we have come with that decision..
Andar ek sipaahi hai jisne lee angdaayi hai, ab tak soya soya tha sapno mein hi khoya tha, bahut ho gaya hai vishraam.. Raghupati Raghav Raja Raam..
There is a soldier inside us, Which is stretching now [as in, is waking up] It was a little sleepy yet, Was lost in dreams.. (But now) it's been enough of rest, Now give us power, Lord Raam.
Raghupati Raghav Raja Raam.. Raghupati Raghav Raja Raam..
