Farewell My Home (The Hazel and Alice Sessions, 2016)
“Farewell My Home”
I returned to the place that I left long ago Little house, weathered barn, hills and fields where we roamed Dusty roads of my youth have all hardened to stone And to strangers my name is unknown. Oh sweet home of my childhood, sweet home of my dreams Where old friends and old hearts entwine in sweet relief Where I rode the wild stallion and rode with the storm Now it’s farewell my home, my home.
