The two moderate tempo dance tunes are based on the drone that is a typical feature in many European cultures. Although these tunes were recorded outside Belarus, in Shepetovka, Ukraine, they are both quite representative of Litvak Jewish and Polessian instrumental styles, perhaps due to the extensive repertoire migration across the region.
