Вдруг всё пошло,
И в моём забвеньи. пафос,
Мысли ветром унесло.
Снова, снова душу ранят
Прошлых лет моих картины;
Ну и кто ж меня избавит
От таких страданий сильных ?

Вот вновь темно, и не видно ничего,
Небеса вдруг очернились, меня снова затрясло;
Не от холода того, что несёт с собою дождь,
Винроваты мои мысли, что меня бросают в дрожь.
Я с закрытыми глазами людей вижу под дождём,
Начинает мне казаться, что уже пора в ?дурдом>,
Но меня дождём облило, мои мысли прояснились,
Я глаза открыл и понял, что всё это мне приснилось.

Всё кругом улетит непонятно мне куда,

Его улицы и окна, и домов чужих фасад.
Пролетит гонимый ветром изрисованнный листок,
Вдоль по улице куда-то (вероятно, на восток.)
Моя память сегодня так похожа на тот лист,
Он помят и изрисован, хотя гладок был и чист.
