From the banks of Jhelum, our inspirations run firmly

As if to welcome a generation, born in violence

Runnin' wild and free, imaginations of our youth
Who know the importance of Education and Truth

See the son of Kashmir didn't take time to become a man
'cause conflict is a word, he had to understand
He had to carry an ID, 'cause maa said 'You never know'
For you to 'contribute' you have to stay safe and grow

Run past your fears and inscribe your name in clay
'cause the dream held in tears shall overcome one day
Pray that blind lady will finally be able to see justice
So keep your faith and dreams for every moment is just a bliss

Kiss the soil and vow, to make our Kashmir better
It's a country without a post office, but we will still write a letter
Fear no evil little seed, just fight for your rights
