I remember when the plague came and it spread like wildfire through the cities and the towns And you know that it left me alone
Since then every night the undead been knockin at my door And on my walls and on my windows they just keep tap tap tappin I said every damn night the undead been knockin on my door And it’s been quite an adjustment to make
This loneliness is killin me and I can’t take much more Those damn bloodsuckers with their undead ruckus bout enough to drive a man insane And when the morning comes I’ll put a stake through each one of their cold dead hearts
Every day’s the same I keep drudgin on and on and on Another day another body for the fire that funeral pyre keeps growin higher and higher They say a man can get used to just about anything if he has to But knowin that you’re completely alone's a feelin worse than any man ever knew
This loneliness is killin me and I can’t take much more Those damn bloodsuckers with their undead ruckus bout enough to drive a man insane And when the morning comes around I’ll go house to house through the town and Put a stake through each one of their cold dead vampire hearts
I said every damn night the undead been knockin at my door Knock knock knockin
