Moby [I Like To Score 1997] - Go | Текст песни

В 1991 сингл Go с сэмплами из известного телевизионного сериала «Твин Пикс» («Twin Peaks»), режиссером которого является Дэвид Линч, попал в британский Top-10 и разошелся тиражом более одного миллиона копий.

"Go" is a song by American electronic music artist Moby, released as the first single from his self-titled album Moby. The single was a success in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number ten on the UK Singles Chart.

It samples "Laura Palmer's Theme" from the television series Twin Peaks and the titular vocal from Tones on Tail's song "Go!". The "yeah" vocal which features prominently in the track is actually a pitched down sample from soul singer Jocelyn Brown, taken from her 1985 single "Love's Gonna Get You"; this sample remains uncredited.

The song's music video was directed by Ondrej Rudavsky.

14 different remixes of the song were collected and combined into an entire continuous CD as a bonus disc for Moby's album Rare: The Collected B-Sides 1989–1993.

On Moby's 2006 compilation, also named Go, a remix of the song featured on the album. On the UK version, the version from Moby's 1997 compilation "I Like to Score" appears instead.

In 2010, "Go" was ranked #134 in Pitchfork Media's Top 200 Tracks of the 1990s.
