Recorded in January / February 1991 at Morrisound Studios, Tampa, Florida.
The artwork is taken from the 1894 painting The Treasures of Satan by Belgian symbolist painter, writer, and occultist Jean Delville and was also used in Hexenhaus's first album A Tribute to Insanity (1988).
A music video was made for the song "Blessed Are the Sick".
