في ليلة من الليال لست أدري ما إعتراني/once upon nights I don't know what happened to me

ظلمة تغمرني يارب/A darkness invaded me O lord

الأرض ضاقت والسماء وقلبي ما عرف الضياء/the earth narrowed and the sky and my heart didn't know the light

والدمع بات يبكي يا إلهي/and the tears started to cry Oh God

عصيتُ والذنب كبير وإني في حزني أسير/I disobeyed and the sin is great and I am a prisoner in my own sorrow

مقيد بذنبي يا رب/I am tied into my sin oh lord

فهل أستحق يا إلهي العفو مجرما/so do I deserve oh God the forgiveness as a criminal?

مُقر بالذنوب يا إلهي/Admitting my sins oh my God

يا إلهي/O God

أنت الذي خلقتني ورحمتني ورزقتني/you are the one who created me you had mercy on me and you gave me

دوما يارب قد كنت معي/Oh God you've been always with me

لكنني نآيت عنك نسيت ما قد كان لك/But I'am the one who turned back on you, I forget what was yours

وسرت في طريقي ياإلهي/And I walked on my own path Oh my God

يا إلهي/O God

أنت الذي خلقتني ورحمتني ورزقتني/you are the one who created me you had mercy on me and you gave me

دوما يارب قد كنت معي/Oh God you've been always with me

لكنني نآيت عنك نسيت ما قد كان لك/But I'am the one who turned back on you, I forget what was yours

وسرت في طريقي ياإلهي/And I walked on my own path Oh my God

واليوم يا ربي أعود من ظلمةٍ خلف الحدود/And toady I come back my lord

فالقلب منكسر وطرفي حائر/From a darkness beyond the limits the heart is broken and I'm confused

وأنا الغريق فلا أرى إلا سواك لي منقذا/And I'm the drowned one and I can't see savior for me but you

لا ملجأ ولا منجى إلاأنت/ no asylum except you
