These woods hold a secret, Called out like wolf’s howls. Battering fiery winds dance with my demons. Hungry eyes scan the night, Corrupting our emotions and igniting what was spoken. These urges control my head, they redirect my every step. My fingers are to flames. Again I’ve come to face another mistake I’ve made.
Another name on the list, another face I can’t face. My demons are raging inside of me. They whisper, they scream. They prevent me from seeing the better in me. They pull me under. Beauty is only skin deep six feet beneath the dirt. This never-ending sleep.
They whisper, they scream. They prevent me from seeing the better in me. These Demons they Haunt me.
I’ve traded Love for Lust. Corruption stabs my back, Temptation blinds my eyes. I’m no stranger to these woods. Cold dark nights lead to my demise. I traded Love for Lust.
This love is all gone it's all wrong, These fiends, they guarantee that I eat the fruit from the poisonous tree. They drag me under and disagree. This Lust is what strung me on all along.
Give me back what you took from me, help me see what this Love really means.
They whisper, they scream. They prevent me from seeing the better in me. These Demons they haunt me. Till I’m gone.
