1. Is the book the saddest love song you've ever had to write or is it celebrating a brilliant moment in history? I've been talking about this for 35 years so it's kinda normal talking about this stuff all the time. 2. Writing with Chris Epting. He knows how to bring out a story. 3. Arroe talks about a construct used in the book. When Phil talks about another band member, that person has also provided a story about Phil. Phil thought it would be a cool thing to do -- a different perspective. Wasn't nervous about what people would say about him. Phil was pleased about how it turned out. 4. Was meeting Def Leppard for the first time what Phil expected? They were just kids playing clubs like we were so it was no big deal really. Some of the places played were dives. 5. What was it like to step inside a band with Steve Clark? Plethora of great musical styles they were drawing from. 6. Do you bring back ideas to DL when you go off and explore solo projects? Absolutely. Sea of Love was originally intended for Delta Deep but DL guys thought the band could do a killer version of it. 7. Changing from single guys to married men after Hysteria tour. It's still the band with the same work ethic. 8. Band always tries to raise the bar. Better musicians and singers now. 9. Slang re-release mentioned followed by playing SLANG.
