When I first discovered Donato Dozzy’s early records quite some years ago, I was immediately captured by the warm and hypnotic feel of his music. From that moment on, I’ve been a big fan of Dozzy’s work, over the years, collecting more and more of his music - from his well-known collaborations with other great artists to his remixes and solo projects. At some point the idea occurred to me: why not pay homage to this great artist in form of a mix? It took me quite a while to bring the idea into reality, but now here it is. During the process of surveying the records and selecting tracks for the mix, I got the feeling I wanted to create something more geared toward home listening or a walk around the city with headphones. For this reason, I slowed things down a bit and kept the whole mix under 120 bpm.
