you have traveled to places I can’t even pronounce and you have slept next to beautiful naked women that probably still think about you. so why do you lay next to me on nights you are back and pull me closer when I laugh about your stories about vera, asha and maiya. you stroke my hair till I fall asleep and you make my heart shine. you have always made me better. we have been in love for all these years and I guess that this is finally our time now. you are telling me to come with you on this adventure of life and there is something about the way you say my name, as if there is love and promise each time. you argue that home is in our hearts and as long as we are together we will never lose it, we will never lose ourselves. the stories, the lovers, the three year gap…none of it matters anymore. now it seems like wherever I will go you will go with me.
