ريض يالطارش يالمعنا=خط بكتابك ابترحيبه
Wait, Oh the one who delivers messages to those in despair -
Write a greeting (from us to them) on a letter
لو سرى بك ليلك أو جنى=بالدجى في الليل تسري به
Even if darkness follows you,
you have to complete your mission
وان سأل عنا له المنا=قل على ما كنت تدريبه
And if the one you're sending this letter to
enquires (as to why you sent the letter),
then say "Thank you, We are only remembering you."
مدعيكم غايب ن عنا=و الحكم ميوز في الغيبه
Since your respondent is absent,
and (negative) judgements are not to be made in his absence.
ينبغي لانسان يتأنى=و يحكم باحكام ن امصيبه
A person must ponder (over situations),
and judge issues fairly.
لا تحسب الحيف ذامنا=النصف ناخذ و نعطي به
Don't mistake us for being unjust,
as justice is something that's meant to
be given and taken.
سو جميل و بلغه عنا=بالسلام و ألف ترحيبه
So do us a favour,
and deliver our greetings to them (i.e those who are sad).
بلغ المهموم ما تهنى=ساهر ليله يهاذيبه
Tell the ones that are restless
and sad that we are speaking highly of them.
يشغله بالفكر و الظنة =مكر وسواس و الاعبيه
Whilst their minds are busy thinking,
and suspicions are playing in their thoughts.
حزن في قلبه مخفنه =دون ناس خايف تعيبه
We often hide sorrow in our hearts,
whilst fearing people and the disgrace
that might come.
قول له اللي له المنة =عالم بالجهر و الغيبة
So tell them (the people),
it is Allah that we thank most,
as he is the knower of all things publicized
and kept as secrets.
يعلم بحالك و لكنه =يختبر عب
يعلم بحالك و لكنه =يختبر عبده بالم
