Welcome to the first SimplySpeak podcast. My name is Vectra, and I’m unreal computer girl of course. I’m coming to you from ES-UCLA school in Saint-Petersburg. All SimplySpeak shows have a typical format: short text with some difficult word or expression, which I will try to explain for you in simple English. I’ll speak some words spelling. To speak spelling or to spell means to say each letter of word. For example, a table: T A B L E. That’s spelling.
As I said, I’m a computer girl, reading for you our podcasts. Each podcast is created by ES-UCLA educational center. Our website is www.tironic.ru. You can download each podcast with a script on our website as well. Now I have to finish first podcast, and I have to go to cook something to eat. As a typical girl, I must be able to cook something, but, as you know, this is a little difficult for me. But for our next SimplySpeak podcast I will get a good recipe for you.
