the story of the girl with a hole in her soul

the girl was used to celebrate an everyday carnival
full of shrill colouring and loud singing - till overload
to detract her from a hole in her soul
comparable to a white spot on your inner mapping

one day, the girl found herself beeing very, very tired of celebrating
the colours seemed synthetical and the singing seemed to scream
the girl felt a strong inner wish to stop that noise and madness -
and decided the carnival to be over

she lay down her role as the director and main character
send the supporting actors away and turned off the light
and when she brought down the stage
she discovered the long-forgotten hole in her soul

after a while sitting still and listening to the silence
she realised this hole as a very calm and quiet place
as a peaceful nothing in her inner midst
she discovered the beauty of grey and pastel shades
as the natural colouring of her soul

she didn't want to fix or get rid of the hole anymore
she found out that it belongs as she belongs - namely to herself
from that day on the girl lived happily ever after * **

quiet IV tells the essence of the story -
shows its happy ending and how it feelsounds like
when the girl found freedom and peace with her inner hole
