Carlos Niño goes all the way back to the beginning with Stones Throw, when, as a writer for Rap Pages in the mid-90s, he was the first to give Stones Throw a shout in the press. From 1995 to 2015, Niño hosted one of Los Angeles' great radio shows, Spaceways Radio on KPFK. Through his work as a DJ, producer, composer, and percussionist he has explored the multitude of music scenes the city has birthed in these last two decades.

His own album, Flutes, Echoes, It's All Happening! will be released Friday 4/22 by Leaving Records.
