Then it occurred to me that the word chav is horrible and over-used and that putting it in the chorus of a song isn't necessarily a very clever thing to do so I should use the second verse to underline the fact that the words aren't really mine but that I'm paraphrasing someone, an idiot in power, not necessarily the Major of Croydon but you get the general idea, it's like when Bruce Springsteen worte born in the USA did he ever think that one day people would say that the words are too blindly patriotic thus completely misunderstanding the sentiments of the lyrics - I mean, I'm not saying my songs are gonna be as big as Springsteen’s, I just think it's important to clarify these things sometimes...
