Even though we have not heard from Look Ahead Records for quite a while now, the label has been really busy getting some new stuff for house music lovers. At the beginning of 2013, the label brings an amazing single release entitled "Rifflection" from a young and talented DJ and producer called Syndyk. There are three versions of the title track included in his single: and original mix as well as two remixes prepared by Radek K and the duo of Nu Media respectively, and what is worth mentioning is the fact that all of them require special attention. Syndyk originally comes from Lublin in Poland. Altgough he is quite young, he is bound and determined to make high quality music which he proves by delivering his excellent single. Despite the fact that Syndyk has been performing officially on the stage since 2009 roku, his passion for electronic music appeared much earlier. Throughout the time, he has stood a chance to play alongside such artists as Karol XVII & MB Valence, Thomas Langner, Sharam Jey, David Phillips, Dj Tarkan, V-Sag, Viadrina, Marcin Czubala, Glasse, and many others. Syndyk emphasizes that he is utterly dedicated to one and only genre: Deep House! Such characteristics are present in his mixes and productions that he emits on his own show "Music Institute" on the Houseradio. Radek K, who delivered one of the remixes, is also known as DJ Trackmaster. He started his interest in electronic music at the age of 15. He used to attend the legendary Bardo club. It was then that he fell for techno and house music. In 2000, he tried his hand at the turntables for the very first time. In May 2001, he won first place in the First Championships of DJs in the region of Lublin. He has been a resident DJ of two of the largest clubs in Lublin: "Fabryka" ("Factory") and "5 Element" ("5th Element"). As DJ Trackmaster, he performs in many Polish and foreign clubs. With time, Radek walked away from heavy sounds and his taste in music has evolved into progressive tunes. In his mixes, we can hear many warm, natural and floating sounds which are emphasized by vocals appearing very frequently. Eventually, Radek felt the desire to create his own productions. He had been exploring his knowledge of music software for a number of years and finally his debut album "Down The Shore" was released in 2009 by the Renno Records label. The second remix comes from the Polish duo called Nu Media, represented by Venzio & Sourge. The two friendly artists both share love for a vinyl record. At the beginning of August, Marcin Krupa's Ponton label put out their debut EP. The release got a lot of interest not only in Poland but also abroad. This made the duo work even harder and currently they are working on new material in the studio and hopefully more great tracks from these gentlemen will soon be available. In their sets, Venzio & Sourge combine different styles such as disco, minimal and techno. Their record collection is really impressive and gets bigger with each passing day. Nu Media have often used older tunes in their sets to make them sound unique and to let clubbers remember them for longer.
