I wish that I could wake up tomorrow and he would be standing over me. I wish that he could have been there this year beside our christmas tree. I wish that when I go to bed, close my eyes, he would tuck me in at night I wish that I could hear his bedtime stories before he turned out the light. I wish that I could hear his laugh and see the wrinkles when he smiled. I wish that he could see me in my wedding dress and walk me down the aisle. I wish that things were different and someone else took his place in line. I wish heaven had a phone so I could talk to my father, just one more time. I wish God would ask me what I wanted more than anything else in this world. I would tell him, send him back so that he can be with me, his little girl.
