i've never been near a war, i think about this every time i'm in the grocery store and you ask me what are you looking for. what are we looking for
there are patriots of war, patriots for blood, patriots of buisiness and they are selling you things you don't believe in and if you can believe it, there are even singers, and they are singing things they don't believe in i guess it's fun. i don't care about....
the young people on the floor, they believe in nothing at all they preen and they pose, pick their rhetoric to match their clothes the old people in their cars, they stare and drop their drawers with their finger up their nose, they'll do just as they're told
i've never been near a war, i think about this every time i see someone with the gall, to put a sticker on their car are they wondering at all? are they thinking at all?
i've never been near a war, i've never seen a comrade's body and soul mangled and torn, for some obscure cause are we wondering at all, what are we fighting for? what are we killing for?
fall in line and proudly crow "up the patriots of love in this century under god we are the patriots of love with my right hand on my heart i am a patriot of love we turn our backs to flags and stones up the patriots of love"
