I went to a party
the other night
I wanted to fill my brain with light
I bought myself a bottle
and I started drinking wine
I thought pretty soon, I'd be feeling fine....
but I couldn't get high! Oh, No!

well I put dow my bottle and I picked up my pipe
I stuffed it full of grass
and I gave myself a light
I huffed and I puffed
I smoked and I toked
but after awhile, my heart was nearly broken.....
cause I couldn't get high, Oh, No!

so I put down my pipe and as mad as I could be
I gobbled up a cube of LSD
I waited thirty minutes for my body to zing
I waited and I waited but I couldn't feel a thing
cause I couldn't get high, Oh, no!
