In addition to over 40 original Higher Animals songs, they have released a series of interesting takes on other people's songs, which range from Bascom Lamar Lunsford's "I Wish I Was A Mole In The Ground", to Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill", to The Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive", to a medieval glam delta-blues version of "Greensleeves". The Higher Animals' covers comprise a unique genre unto themselves.
