I don't know much about them other than what I've read in the liner notes
of Essential Pebbles 3 and of the "Hit The Road Jack" compilation. But
they were not fake! They were from Granaa, Denmark and they released only
one single on the Jacks Beat record label (some of the best Danish beat
stuff is on this label!) in 1968. For those who haven't heard it, "To
Masturbate" is a deranged psychotic version of "Hey Joe" with slightly
different (and mostly undecipherable) lyrics... Apparently the other side
of the record is an uninteresting version of "Summertime". The band
started in 1964 using the name Les Garcons and playing R&B and
disappeared by 1970. Any of you who, unlike myself, can read in Danish or
