Point Of View (By The Professional: American Poets 2099: Warcloud: West Coast:)
[Verse One]
There's a big difference between you and me I want to make a difference in people's lives to save my sanity It's kind of hard trying to stay focused, dealing with emotions and every day madness Choosing between needs and wants, building up establishments Its harder then it seems when every thing is not what it appears to be I have faith in myself; I know eventually that I will make it happen And when I get on I'll spread love to those who where there for me It's the ultimate satisfaction; stay dedicated to dedication while the beat seduces me Maintain my train of thought Pay attention through out the years I would have to say I've gained a lot Pull up a seat I'm here for the duration, I'm an artist and an instamental is my canvas
Put the finishing touches on my master piece Poet's Laboratory I got to make it happen And when I get on I'll spread love to those who where there for me It's the ultimate satisfaction; it's just my point of view
[Verse Two]
I implement what I've learned And never get entirely down on my self, yo when people seem unconcerned I try not to get distracted, stay away from negativity I'm simply The Poet, what more do you want from me Sometimes you got to look within ones self; I try to make do with what God dealt Try to make a positive impact when my presence is felt I know I can be stubborn at times, yo when I need some help But no ones perfect, I guess I got faults just like every one else In the future I plan to devote a majority of my time to giving Sit back and enjoy the simple things life has to offer I want to help motivate You can't live your whole existence trying to live up to the expectations of another mans accomplishments There's a lot to be attained I've come to the acknowledgment that life is precious, and knowledge of self is priceless
[Epilogue] Sometimes you got to put aside selfishness You've got to try to show some compassion and help a friend out in what there going through Right now that's how I'm feeling It's just my point of view,
