The Topic of my research activity is Multiyear river flow of Ob basin statistic features estimation. My scientific supervisor is Gaidukova Ekaterina Vladimirovna. I have been doing my research for a year. This theme is of great importance, because it is established, that streamflow forming is unsteady through third and often second initial moments, meaning coefficients of skewness and variation, nearly on forty percent of CIS area. Existing methods of estimating these features are based on supposing steadiness of multiyear river flow, causing higher probability of hydrologic accidents. The purpose of the research is to obtain safe probabilistic ranges of water discharge in unsteady streamflow forming areas. The multiyear river flow of Ob basin <statistic features> estimation was calculated using the increase in the number of state variables method with 56 streamflow and meteorological gages data. Besides water discharge evaporation was taken into account as most important part of water balance after runoff. The research focuses on practical application ability of the increase in the number of state variables method. The probabilistic ranges of water discharge obtained indicate that this method must be used with temporary structure projecting.
