Forced into life you pray for a change to come, unaware that you rest in the hands of the one keeping us enslaved. Your savior is given life from your self inflicted weakness. How can you be too blind to see that your faith drives us apart? Your salvation depends on your surrender. Pleading to the sky harbors a weakness from within. Those given to the rising will fall far from fulfilled. As we recede we will then face the demons of ascension - let the death of god be an extension of our own discontent. When I die, let me not rise. I will stay on this earth, to remain free.
