Katawa Shoujo blind-sided me in a lot of ways.

For starters, I'd never expected the game to actually be released. Forum
projects are usually big talk that's all hype that goes nowhere. However,
KS was released, and more impressively still, it was pretty good. Maybe it
benefited from low expectations to exceed on my part, but the fact of the
matter was that by the end of my first play though (Emi's good ending,) I'd
really fallen for the game. It was touching, and it even revealed a lot
about my own personality. Right after words, I experimented with remixing
the soundtrack, but only recently could I take the half-finished ideas and
spin them together into something that merged my own emotions with that of
the amazing songs by Blue123, Juno and NicolArmarfi.
